A SHORT WALK AWAY
Plaza Italia is across the street, and Plaza Independencia is 300 meters away. From there you can continue on foot through the city center and its main streets and pedestrian areas.
Less than 500 meters away you will find the Park Hyatt Mendoza and its casino, the Convention and Exhibition Center, theaters and museums.
You will also find supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and ATMs, currency exchange offices, laundries, travel agencies and other useful services nearby.
RESTAURANTS, BARS AND NIGHTLIFE
Sarmiento Avenue, only 200 meters from our home, concentrates several of the city’s best-known restaurants, along with cafés and ice cream shops. If you continue east past Plaza Independencia, Sarmiento becomes the Paseo Peatonal Sarmiento, a pedestrian street 700 meters from our home, less than 15 minutes on foot, and one of the liveliest areas of the city center.
Arístides Villanueva Avenue, about four blocks away, is one of the city’s main meeting places, with bars, pubs, restaurants and nightlife. You can also walk to Emilio Civit Avenue, with its cafés, restaurants and ice cream shops, which leads on to General San Martín Park.
GENERAL SAN MARTÍN PARK AND CERRO DE LA GLORIA
General San Martín Park, designed by French landscape architect Charles Thays, is one of Mendoza’s largest green spaces. It is 1 km from our home, a little under 20 minutes on foot. You can walk its paths, visit the Rose Garden and continue to Cerro de la Gloria for panoramic views of the city and the Andes.

Mendoza airport is 11 km away (about 20 minutes by car) and the bus terminal is 1.8 km away (about 9 minutes by taxi). We can arrange a taxi or private transfer for you.
